March 23rd is National Puppy Day! Founded by Pet Lifestyle Expert and Animal Advocate, Colleen Paige, National Puppy Day is dedicated to celebrating puppies and encouraging adoption, rather than buying from pet stores supplied by puppy mills.

The goal for the day is to save 10,000 homeless puppies, nationwide!

Shelters across America are filled with puppies looking for FUREVER homes. Please don't shop - ADOPT! Pet stores are supplied by puppy mills that abuse and neglect their animals for the sake of the almighty dollar. Animals are living in cramped and filthy conditions, with little food and water, and in freezing cold or searing heat.

Please become part of the solution instead of remaining part of the problem. If you desire a pure breed, there are plenty of pure breed rescues that have wonderful puppies for adoption. If you must have a pure breed that you cannot locate through a rescue, PLEASE only go to a "reputable breeder" someone who is licensed, and has good reviews through local vets and the internet.
