Jolly Pets Upgrades Packaging to Increase Consumer Appeal,
Brand Cohesion
Consumers find new designs attractive; increase appeal in market.

announced a
whole line packaging redesign for a brand that is one of the most
name-recognized pet
toys in the industry. The redesign comes on the heels of impressive
growth for FY2006
and is intended to encourage stronger consumer interest, clearly
communicate brand
cohesion, and bring toy aesthetics to the forefront of the purchasing
decision.
The packaging upgrade makes better use of Planogram space, allowing
for optimal product
integration, ease of expansion into diversified lines, and promotion
of visually interesting
anchor areas. The new label makes it easy for consumers to identify the proper toy for
their use, making dog size a key feature in choosing a toy size;
also, an animated dog
illustrating one or more of the product uses, as well as easy-to-understand
bulleted lists
on the back of each package highlighting the strongest selling
